The New Contemporary Art Museum in Buenos Aires does born as an expression of technological innovation and environmental sustainability at the banks of the Río de la Plata. A new landmark for the Puerto Madero Waterfront, with an original design, intriguing and flexible exhibition spaces.
The design concept of the Museum is based on the importance of the Rio de la Plata to the Argentina’s capital. A silver museum, with silver panels facades, stainless steel, and bright lines that lights up at night. The museum’s architecture is the combination of three essential factors:
1) Structure: a streamlined and modular solution in metal structure.
2) Sustainability: the use of materials and technological resources in the constitution of a building energetically efficient and therefore sustainable for the environment.
3) Design: Originality and simplicity are the foundations of a unique design, inspired by the Río de la Plata.
