The Philadelphia House concept was developed mainly as a countryside house that takes advantage of a fantastic top hill spot to promote the maximum number of views to the landscape.
The views are optimized positioning a glass façade and balcony on the cliff side. The access to the roof allows people’s integration with the nature, composed by terrace and mini-grandstand, opening new sights and providing an open air experience.
A cantilevered structure made by reinforced concrete is finished with wood and glass openings, at a countryside resting place, oriented by sustainable choices, specially promoting the cross ventilation to cool the inner spaces and balancing the entrance of natural light and solar incidence. Respecting the nature and integrating into it, Philadelphia House is a small icon of how man and nature can cooperate to build a sustainable world.
