P2 HOUSE

The neomodernist residence is the junction of a language developed in modernist architecture with the incorporation of new elements from contemporary architecture. With an orthogonal design, the purity of white on façades and big glass openings, the P2 House promotes the integration of internal spaces within the exterior extensive gardens. By functional sight, the integration also happens in the house’s interior. In the first floor the central stair organizes the environments on its surroundings.

Independently of integration, the sectorization is well defined, with the service area longitudinally arranged, the social space in the first floor, and the intimate areas in the second floor. Beneath the house, taking advantage of site’s declivity, a garage for three cars with an access stair directly to the social area or service area. One generous leisure area defines the posterior site’s area.

The dinner room and the living room are immersed on natural light entering by transparent glass openings. Visual and functional integration that dissolves the interior and exterior limits.

The constructive system is composed by reinforced concrete “in loco” molded, and non-bearing walls of masonry bricks. The water tank and the swimming pool are also structured by reinforced concrete.
